Storage on a UH Virtual Server

Description

A virtual server is best suited for average-sized data sets in active use. Doesn't require particular expertise to use, but needs to be procured with an IT Solutions consultant. Can be set up to store sensitive or non-sensive data.

A virtual server can be used:

- For small, medium or large data sets
- For sharing data within a group
- For storing sensitive or non-sensitive data
- Either as a shared folder on a UH computer or via SFTP client (but not both)

A virtual server can't be used: 

- For sharing data with parties without UH user accounts

Requirements:

- An owner committed to keeping basic ownership information up to date on a yearly basis
- A person responsible for managing user access rights via UH Group Administration Tool
